Key Responsibilities Strategic Leadership and Brand Innovation

  • Drive innovation across all marketing efforts, ensuring Mirchi and Gaana are seen as cutting-edge, consumer-centric brands.
  • Develop and implement creative campaigns that prioritize social videos, digital storytelling, and interactive content to enhance audience engagement.
  • Identify and execute unique ideas to maintain a consistent buzz around the brands, ensuring relevance and alignment with evolving audience preferences.
Social and Digital Focus
  • Work with content teams to champion the use of social media platforms to build brand visibility, including short-form videos, trending formats, and influencer collaborations.
  • Leverage audience insights and analytics to create engaging, shareable content that resonates with target demographics.
  • Build a robust ecosystem of digital campaigns, ensuring alignment with the overall brand tone and strategy.
Partnerships and Alliances
  • Secure and optimize partnerships that amplify the brand’s presence and visibility in innovative ways.
  • Drive end-to-end management of collaborations, ensuring maximum value through creative executions and audience-focused deliverables.
  • Identify opportunities to create experiential activations, events, and initiatives that reinforce brand leadership.
Content Marketing and Engagement
  • Build and execute a dynamic content marketing strategy that blends creativity with data to drive consumer engagement.
  • Create campaigns that are interactive, personalized, and focused on storytelling to enhance brand affinity.
  • Ensure consistent representation of the brands across all touchpoints, including industry forums and external communications.
Research, Insights, and Analytics
  • Champion audience research initiatives to stay ahead of industry trends and consumer expectations.
  • Analyze performance data from campaigns to refine strategies and ensure continuous improvement.
  • Monitor competitor activities and leverage insights to differentiate Mirchi and Gaana effectively.
Team Collaboration and Leadership
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams (sales, content, programming, finance) to align marketing initiatives with business objectives.
  • Partner with creative and media agencies to deliver high-impact campaigns on time and within budget.
  • Foster a culture of innovation and agility within the marketing team, encouraging experimentation and bold ideas.
Other Responsibilities
  • Manage all national partnerships and align them with brand objectives and KPIs.
  • Coordinate with regional marketing teams to ensure consistent implementation of brand campaigns.
  • Oversee the marketing budget, ensuring cost-efficiency and measurable impact.

  • 8+ years in a marketing or brand leadership role, preferably in media, entertainment, or digital-first organizations.

  • Expertise in creating innovative campaigns with a focus on social media and video-driven strategies.
  • Proficiency in leveraging digital tools, analytics, and audience insights for impactful marketing.
