Excel Recruitment is seeking a Senior Speech and Language Therapist to join a Multidisciplinary Autism Specialist Team to deliver ASD diagnostic assessments for children and families across Clare, Limerick, and North Tipperary. We are seeking a highly experienced Senior Speech & Language Therapist who is passionate about autism assessment and diagnosis. This Hybrid Speech and Language Therapist job offers the flexibility to manage your own schedule while delivering impactful work. • CORU Registration and a recognised Speech & Language Therapy qualification.
• Experience at Senior SLT level or eligibility for this grade.
• Certified training in ADIR and ADOS diagnostic tools (essential).
• Expertise in clinical interviews, structured play-based assessments, and family consultations.
• Excellent planning and organisational skills to manage assessments, reports, and feedback sessions efficiently.
• A commitment to best practices, quality assurance, and trauma-informed care.

Your Role: Conduct comprehensive autism diagnostic assessments using DSM-V or ICD-11 criteria. Provide structured feedback and intervention recommendations for children and their families. Work across home, clinic, school, and community settings to support holistic care. Collaborate with multidisciplinary team members to ensure high-quality service delivery. Maintain compliance with GDPR, Children First, and Health & Safety regulations.
