Senior Customs Declarant

Role: Senior Customs Declarant My client, a leading customs consulting firm, is seeking to hire an experienced Senior Customs Declarant. The role will include overseeing the work of a junior customs declarant and providing strategic advice and training to new declarants in customs operations. Tasks and responsibilities:

1. Technical customs clearance: Handle complex customs declarations, ensuring accuracy in documentation and compliance with classification and valuation standards.
2. Supervision and training: Oversee and mentor junior customs declarants, providing training and guidance to ensure they are well-versed in customs regulations and procedures.
3. Regulatory compliance: Stay updated on changes in customs regulations and ensure all clearance activities comply with international and national laws.
4. Strategic consultation: Provide strategic advice on customs matters to senior management and clients, helping to optimize customs operations and reduce potential risks.
5. Process improvement: Lead initiatives to improve clearance processes, enhance efficiency, and reduce costs associated with customs clearance.
