About the role Civeo Australia are looking for experienced Head Chefs (Certificate III in Commercial Cookery or trade certificate) to work closely with the Village & Catering Managers to deliver exceptional food to our Villages across WA. The primary focus of the role is to ensure a smooth and profitable kitchen operation for the village. This is a fly-in-fly-out role (FIFO) departing from Perth on 8:6 rosters. What's in it for you?

- 5+ years’ cumulative chef experience, preferably working in a large hotel or remote village environment (FIFO or DIDO) with at least 3+ years supervising and managing a team of chefs
- Experience with ordering, storing, preparing and delivering food service
- Strong experience in a bulk/batch cooking environment.
- Ordering, profit and wastage reporting
- Client relationship management and support
- Certificate III/IV in Commercial Cookery or Trade certificate.
- Applied knowledge of HACCP principles in a bulk cooking environment
- Ability to create service schedules on a daily, weekly and monthly basis
- Applied knowledge of workplace safety systems and compliance requirements
- Intermediate skills with regards to Microsoft Office applications
- Budgetary and analytical skills
- Knowledge of relevant kitchen chemicals, including their application and storage.
- You must have a valid driver’s licence (Class C).
