Looking for the Director of Events Management for our esteemed client Job Description: Development of concept notes for events. Create the guideline documents of the department. Oversee the planning and execution of mega international events. Serve as a link between company and the event host country/organization(s)/member chamber(s) and external bodies (national/international). Follow up the needed tasks with internal departments to make sure that event(s) is well organized. Provides recruitment and training/coaching for the needed staff for the purpose of event(s). Supervision of the planning and execution process of event(s). Maintaining communication with all team members throughout the planning process to ensure the best possible outcome of the event(s). Managing the flow of operations during event(s) to ensure that everything runs smoothly, including setup, breakdown, activities, tear down and necessary report of event(s). Overseeing the marketing and promotion of event(s) to ensure that it is well attended by the target audience. Prepare the budget, monitor it carefully and report it regularly. Seek to raise sponsorship funds for the event(s). Responsible for the events content and its diversity in all editions. Requirements - Bachelor’s degree in business administration, Marketing, or a related field (master’s degree preferred). -+15 year of experience in the event management field/company. - Event Management, preferably at a similar level - Demonstrated experience in managing high-level meetings and events - Excellent command of English (written and spoken) and Arabic (will be a preferred)- Excellent organizational and time management skills - Strong communication, negotiation, and leadership skills - Demonstrated ability to work well under pressure and meet tight deadlines - Experience dealing with multicultural teams and managing budgets - Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook, etc.) and event management software - Experience with media relations and digital marketing is a plus Location: Clifton, Karachi.
