Job Location: Lahore/Karachi/Islamabad (Full-time, Onsite/Remote) Job Overview: We are seeking a Head of PMO to lead multiple high-impact projects and oversee diverse project management teams. Reporting: This role reports into the Executive Vice President in Pakistan and will have frequent interaction with NorthBay Solutions C-Level executives. Note: The candidate should also be flexible in working during US, MEA, and APAC overlapping hours. Required Skills and Experience:

  • Bachelor’s/Master’s degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, or a related field.
  • PMP Certified
  • 16+ years of experience in IT project management, with a strong background in managing multiple projects and teams.
  • Proven track record of leading large-scale enterprise software development and system integration projects across multiple domains.
  • Extensive experience managing project managers and cross-functional teams in an Agile environment.
  • Hands-on development experience in any programming language, with the ability to engage in high-level technical discussions.
  • Deep understanding of code review processes, technical debt management, and software development best practices.
  • Expertise in Agile methodologies, SDLC, SLA management, and cloud technologies (AWS preferred).
  • Ability to handle multiple projects with varying durations and complexity.
  • Strong business acumen with the ability to align technical project execution with strategic business objectives.
  • Excellent stakeholder management, negotiation, and communication skills.
  • Experience with budgeting, resource planning, and risk management in project delivery.
  • Familiarity with Big Data, AI/ML, Cloud Infrastructure, and Integration projects is a plus.
  • Interest and/or experience with GenAI.
  • Strong problem-solving mindset with a results-driven approach.
Preferred Qualifications:
  • Experience in managing global and cross-regional teams.
  • Background in Software development, Big Data, ML/AI, or Cloud Migration projects.
  • Proven ability to drive operational improvements and process automation.
  • Experience leading enterprise-scale digital transformation initiatives.
Key Responsibilities:
  • Oversee and manage multiple large-scale projects, ensuring alignment with business goals, timelines, and quality standards.
  • Oversee a diverse portfolio of projects, including software development, Big Data, AI/ML, and cloud migration initiatives.
  • Ensure timely and quality delivery of both short-duration and long-running projects.
  • Build and develop a highly effective team of project managers
  • Lead and mentor multiple project management teams, fostering a culture of collaboration, accountability, and excellence.
  • Develop and implement best practices for project execution, risk management, and process optimization.
  • Align project management strategies with company goals to ensure business growth and high client satisfaction.
  • Define project scopes, goals, deliverables, and resource allocations in collaboration with stakeholders.
  • Establish and maintain strong relationships with clients, proactively managing expectations and ensuring high satisfaction levels.
  • Provide strategic direction to project managers and teams to ensure successful project execution and timely delivery.
  • Ensure adherence to Agile methodologies, SDLC processes, and project management best practices.
  • Monitor and evaluate project performance metrics, identifying areas for improvement and driving continuous enhancements.
  • Work closely with cross-functional teams, including development, QA, and design, to ensure seamless project execution.
  • Act as a bridge between technical and executive leadership, summarizing complex technical discussions for senior stakeholders.
  • Spearhead automation initiatives to enhance efficiency in the software development lifecycle.
  • Ensure all projects comply with security, risk, and compliance standards.
  • Drive innovation by integrating emerging technologies and modern project management tools.
