We are looking for a talented unity engineer to join our team in building video game titles. As a unity engineer, you will be collaborating with senior staff, responsible for planning and implementing game functionality, building the game code, identifying bottlenecks, and ensuring the quality of the finished product. You may also be required to build patches and install game updates. To ensure success as a unity engineer, you should have extensive experience working with Unity software, excellent coding skills, and a good eye for detail. A top-class Unity developer can visualize, design, and code games that speak directly to the target market. They can create appropriate documentation and engage in productive code reviews. Additionally they also display a growth mindset, team player qualities, and an openness to feedback. For this role, employment will initially take the form of project based contracts (6 months) with an initial probationary period of three months. Responsibilities:

  1. Meeting with the design team to discuss gaming ideas and specifications.
  2. Executing strategy and development pipelines.
  3. Planning and implementing game functionality.
  4. Transforming design ideas into functional games.
  5. Designing and building game codes.
  6. Delivering high quality work and documentation through mutual peer reviews.
  7. Identifying and fixing code errors and game bottlenecks.
  8. Testing game functionality and theme dynamics.
  9. Ensuring products conform to high industry standards.
  10. Designing and building game patches and upgrades.
  11. Maintaining source code control through version control systems such as CVS or Perforce.
  12. Providing support for customers who encounter issues with a game after it has been released.
  13. Collaborating as a teamplayer with other members of the development team such as artists, programmers, producers, and audio engineers
