Electrical Engineer

Mechatronix Solutions offers a wide range of products including Road Blockers, Tire Killers, Barriers, Turnstiles, and other security and automation equipment. The Role You will be responsible for :

• Designing, maintaining, implementing, or improving electrical instruments, facilities, components, equipment products, or systems for industrial, commercial, or domestic purposes.
• Ensuring that installation and operations conform to standards and customer requirements by preparing electrical systems specifications, technical drawings, or topographical maps.
• Establishing construction, manufacturing, or installation standards or specifications by performing a wide range of detailed calculations.
• Ensuring compliance with specifications, codes, or customer requirements by directing or coordinating installation, manufacturing, construction, maintenance, documentation, support, or testing activities.
• Performing a wide range of engineering tasks by operating computer-assisted design or engineering software and equipment.
• Conferring with customers, engineers, and others to discuss existing or potential engineering products or projects.
• Writing reports and compiling data regarding existing and potential electrical engineering projects and studies.
• Preparing specifications for purchases of electrical equipment and materials.
• Estimating material, labor, or construction costs for budget preparation.
• Supervising or training project team members.
• Maintaining electrical equipment.
• Working with a variety of technicians.
• Conducting on-site assessments to determine the client's security needs and propose appropriate solutions.
• Collaborating with clients, project managers, and other stakeholders to ensure the successful implementation of security systems.
• Performing system integration and troubleshooting to identify and resolve technical issues.
• Providing training and technical support to clients and end-users on the operation and maintenance of security systems.
• Staying updated with industry trends and advancements in security system technologies.
• Conducting regular maintenance and inspections to ensure the reliability and functionality of installed systems.
• Preparing detailed documentation, including installation plans, system configurations, and maintenance records.
• Collaborating with the sales team to provide technical expertise during pre-sales activities and project planning.

• BS in Electrical, Electronics, or relevant fields
• Minimum of 3-6 months of experience in installing and supporting security systems
• Understanding of electrical engineering codes and safety standards
• Strong knowledge and hands-on experience with various security systems, including CCTV, access control, intrusion detection, hydraulic, and alarm systems
• Proficiency in system configuration, integration, and troubleshooting
• Familiarity with networking principles and protocols related to security systems
• Relevant certifications in security systems (e.g., Certified Security System Installer, Certified Security Professional) are a plus
