Company Background: We are representing one of our multinational client, an award-winning leader in online trading and financial service industry, looking for Business Development Manager to be based in Bangsar, Kuala Lumpur . Key Responsibilities:
- New Business Acquisition: Identify, engage, and close new clients for staffing and IT services
- Account Management: Develop and expand relationships with existing clients to maximize business opportunities
- Revenue Generation: Meet and exceed business targets by securing high-value staffing contracts
- Consultative Sales Approach: Understand client needs, propose tailored workforce solutions, and negotiate contracts
- Client Relationship Management: Build and maintain strong relationships with clients, acting as the main point of contact. Understand the client's needs, goals, and challenges.
- Market Research & Strategy: Analyse industry trends, competitor activities, and customer requirements to build market penetration strategies
- Collaboration: Work with internal teams (recruitment, operations, finance) to ensure seamless service delivery
- Networking & Brand Positioning: Represent the company at industry events, conferences, and networking forums to enhance brand visibility and generate leads
- Bachelors degree in Business, Sales, Marketing, or a related field
- 5+ years of experience in business development/account management in staffing or BFSI/Healthcare/IT/ITES or related industries
- Strong understanding and network within BFSI or Healthcare or IT and related industries in Malaysia
- Experience in contract staffing, body shopping, or outsourcing services
- Excellent negotiation, communication, and presentation skills
- Ability to work independently and manage sales pipelines effectively
- Willingness to travel within Malaysia as required
- Language: Bahasa Malaysia, English and Mandarin.
