Principal Software Engineer - Ruby on Rails

Your primary responsibility would be to build world-class suite products to support the hyper-growth of our businesses in 10 countries. Required Skill Set:

• Overall 4+ years of relevant experience in ROR Framework
• Architect and design scalable, efficient, and maintainable backend systems that meet the needs of our software applications.
• Lead the technical direction of the backend team, making decisions on technology stack, design patterns, and coding practices.
• Participate in architectural discussions, brainstorming sessions, and technical planning to contribute innovative ideas to the team.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including frontend engineers, product managers, and designers, to deliver cohesive end-to-end solutions.
• Write clean, modular, and high-quality code following best practices and coding standards.
• Perform code reviews, provide constructive feedback, and mentor junior engineers to improve overall team skillset.
• Optimise and troubleshoot performance issues in backend systems, ensuring high levels of responsiveness and reliability.
• Stay up-to-date with industry trends, emerging technologies, and best practices to continuously improve the software development process.
• Collaborate with DevOps teams to ensure proper deployment, monitoring, and maintenance of backend services.
