About the Role: Grade Level (for internal use): 12 Job Title: AI Lead - People Platforms About the Role : We are seeking an experienced AI developer, to lead the delivery of an S&P Global HR copilot powered by generative AI. This role is pivotal in designing and implementing AI solutions that effectively respond to queries from multiple user personas, enhancing HR service delivery. The Team: The People Platforms team is responsible for the implementation and support of the technical systems provided by the People function at S&P. We work very closely with the People Team to enhance the employee experience by providing best-in-class technology to our workforce. In this role you will continuously drive improvements, enabling the People Platform team to deliver quality work. You will be partnering with senior leaders in the People (HR) teams globally focusing on high impact and employee facing deliverables that will give you an opportunity to network and develop your skills and provide a path for success in building your career. Responsibilities and Impact: The successful candidate will work very closely with the People and Analytics teams; advising on generative AI capabilities and best practices, suggesting improvements to existing solutions, ensuring data is stored in an optimized way for use with AI tools and leading the design and development of innovative AI solutions that enhance and simplify the employee and manager experience.- Implement, provide guidance and ensure adherence with generative AI best practices
- Analyze and translate People/HR processes into AI business cases
- Design, build and deliver a solution to ensure S&P Global People data is AI ready, whilst still maintaining the highest levels of data security and encryption
- Guide the People Team on potential AI use cases within HR, implementing innovative and impactful solutions
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, AI, Data Science, or a related field; Master’s preferred
- Proven experience in AI development, particularly with generative AI technologies
- Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills
- Experience of working with highly sensitive data
- Excellent communication skills with the ability to advise and influence Senior Leadership
- Strong understanding of HR processes, employee engagement, and HR technology solutions
- Knowledge of Workday and Snowflake preferred but not essential
