DescriptionEssenceMediacom is an agency of GroupM, the world’s largest media investment company and are a part of WPP. In fact, we are responsible for one in every three ads you see globally. We are currently looking for a Manager Media Buying to join us. In this role, you will be responsible for negotiating media deals for the company’s local clients. You will be responsible for handling media vendors and facilitating clients throughout the buying process and additional duties as assigned. The role includes both independent and coordinated buying initiatives. Reporting of the role This role reports to the Business Manager Planning & Buying 3 best things about the job:

- Understanding of the m/SIX buying and planning process – includes basic understanding and importance of proprietary tools.
- Execute basic media and proprietary campaigns.
- Conduct negotiations with partners and close deals.
- Analyze and interpret data and its impact.
- Develop strong relationships with partners.
- Develop, execute and analyze negotiation deals.
- Promote Mediacom proprietary products.
- Close negotiation deals and manage assigned clients.
- Responsible for constructing airing deals.
- Monitoring of KPI clients.
- Ensuring keeping a track on daily TV activities – Ratings.
- Monitoring positions and droppages.
- Monitoring competition.
- Co-coordinating with other support functions.
- Prepare CPRP workings.
- Working with strategic units.
- Coordination with channels to ensure placements, and reduce droppages.
- Generation of weekly droppage report and take up issue with the channel.
- Must be a BBA / MBA from a reputable university of equivalent.
- Must have an experience of at least 2+ years in media buying experience.
- Superior time management and prioritization skills.
- Excellent communication skills.
- Strong analytical and number skills.
- A pro-active approach with excellent negotiation and communication skills.
- Media knowledge and understanding of systems.
