Job Description: We are seeking a highly skilled Assistant Manager Accounts to oversee and manage the financial accounting operations of our organization. The ideal candidate will be responsible for ensuring accurate financial reporting, budgeting, compliance, and internal controls while optimizing financial processes to enhance efficiency. Key Responsibilities:
- Oversee day-to-day accounting operations, including accounts payable, receivable, and general ledger functions.
- Prepare and analyze financial statements, ensuring compliance with accounting standards and regulatory requirements.
- Develop and implement financial policies, procedures, and internal controls.
- Monitor cash flow, budgeting, and forecasting to support financial planning.
- Manage tax filings, audits, and statutory compliance in coordination with external auditors and tax consultants.
- Lead and mentor the accounting team, providing guidance and performance evaluations.
- Ensure timely reconciliation of bank statements, accounts, and financial records.
- Coordinate with internal departments to support financial decision-making.
- Identify opportunities for cost optimization and process improvements.
- Maintain accurate financial documentation and ensure proper record-keeping.
- Bachelors or Masters degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
- Professional certification (CA, ACCA, CPA, CMA) is preferred.
- 5+ years of experience in accounting or finance, with at least 2 years in a managerial role.
- Strong knowledge of accounting principles, financial regulations, and taxation.
- Proficiency in accounting software (e.g., SAP, QuickBooks, or ERP systems).
- Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and leadership skills.
- Strong attention to detail and ability to work under tight deadlines.
- Effective communication and interpersonal skills.
- Experience in financial reporting, audit coordination, and risk management.
- Knowledge of IFRS and GAAP standards.
- Ability to handle multiple projects and prioritize tasks effectively.
