Applications are invited from eligible candidates for the position of Post-Doctoral Associate to work on a project conducting an Economic Impact Assessment of DRDO (Defence Research and Development Organisation). 1. Job Description : The Post-Doctoral Associate is expected to contribute substantially to the project and must be capable of working autonomously. You will be expected to involve themselves in all stages of the project from research design, to overseeing data collection by the Project Associates (i.e., Research Assistants), and data analysis. Writing will also be required regularly. Most importantly, you will be required to travel extensively (accompanied by Project Associates), at least once a month, to DRDO laboratories and institutions that are located all over India, and on each visit spend a few days in those institutions collecting data. 2. Duration : 18 months 3. Qualifications: potential candidates should have a PhD in Economics or in related disciplines (thesis must be submitted, if PhD not awarded). You are expected to have proficiency in quantitative economic analysis, and data collection. Experience in economic impact analysis will be highly preferred – particularly of research organisations or S&T establishments. All Interested applicants must submit: 1. Curriculum vitae 2.
