Content Writer, Marketing Role Purpose To craft and build compelling product/solution narratives that position Pine Labs as a global leader in fintech and the online payments industry. The content writer will create clear, insight-driven, engaging content that simplifies complex features, highlights innovation and strengthens Pine Labs as a preferred partner. The role focuses on driving product positioning and customer engagement through strategic storytelling. Primary Role Overview The candidate will focus on the Prepaid (Issuing) vertical , crafting impactful content that enhances awareness, engagement and understanding of payment solutions. In addition, they will have opportunities to contribute to other verticals based on their expertise and organisational priorities. Responsibilities • Write high-quality, product-centric, engaging content that pitches key benefits of our products and services through blogs, articles, emailers, landing pages, newsletters, case studies, social media and other formats. • Understand and analyse products and present them in a fresh and engaging manner. Be clear, compelling and comprehensive. • Demonstrate an understanding of financial products, market dynamics, and technology. Conduct in-depth research to augment content development. • Understand each current/prospective cohort/market, the key benefit that each product or multi-product solution drives for them and craft content to pitch that effectively. Work with stakeholders to understand products thoroughly and produce content that delivers unique insights. • Refine and edit content before publication. • Own end-to-end execution of content for a set of product verticals. • Collaborate with team members to ensure alignment and consistency in branding, style and messaging. Preferred Qualifications & Requirements Proven experience of 3-4 years as a content writer in the fintech space, with a specialised focus on prepaid and branded payment solutions, including gift cards and loyalty programmes. In-depth knowledge of open-loop and closed-loop payment systems, and similar concepts in this space, enabling the creation of engaging and insightful content tailored to the prepaid payments industry.
- High ownership and drive with the ability to steer projects independently and as a part of a team.
- Seasoned in creating content independently and in guiding design partners (in-house/external) to deliver the final output. Ability to create & execute content strategy for a product organisation.
- Excellent communication skills: Ability to articulate and explain content ideas and plans to stakeholders and get consensus.
- A writing style, voice and tone that will appeal to an international audience of technologists, marketers and enterprise CXOs.
- Journalistic approach with an inclination towards research and the ability to ask the right questions to gather comprehensive information and derive unique insights.Experience in using content to drive measurable results in B2B Marketing.
- Hunger to create something new & remarkable, work together with a team & senior stakeholders, to constantly learn and adapt.
