Staff Engineer - Reporting & Analytics

Job Scope: Responsible for developing Enterprise BI Reports using any of BI Reporting tools like Tableau, Apache Superset, Power BI , ThoughtSpot etc. Designing reports data model. Deploying and automating reports refresh activities. Maintaining and providing operational support for Enterprise reports. Providing requested data to Internal and external team using SQL or other tools. What You’ll be Responsible For?

• Enterprise BI Reports development using Power BI, Tableau, Apache Superset or any other Enterprise reports Development Tool.
• Connecting to data sources, importing data and transforming data for Business Intelligence.
• Excellent in analytical thinking for translating use cases into informative visuals and reports.
• Able to implement row level security on data and have an understanding of application security.
• Proficient in implementing embedded reports.
• Expertise in using advance level calculations on the data set.
• Expertise in Creating custom visual components using HTML, CSS, JavaScript.
• Able to develop data models that are compatible with warehouse standards.
• Developing, publishing and scheduling reports/dashboards as per the business requirements.
• Able to properly understand the business requirements and develop data models accordingly.
• Should have knowledge and experience in prototyping, designing, and requirement analysis.
• Able to integrate Apache Superset reports into other applications using embedded analytics.
• One must be experienced in developing custom visuals using Apache Superset/ Tableau.
• Designing reports Infra architecture for High Availability.

• B.E./B.Tech/MCA
• 12 -15 years of experience in managing Enterprise BI reports

• Experience in Reports development using any of Business Intelligence tools like Power BI, Tableau, Apache Superset
• Experience in data preparation, data gateway and data warehousing projects.
• Should be having strong skills in SQL, Python, Shell scripting etc.
• Should be having strong skills in HTML, CSS, JavaScript etc.
• Expert in Performance tuning of reports/dashboards
• Experience in Troubleshooting and providing operational support for BI Enterprise reports.
• Candidate must be organized, detail oriented, personable and can prioritize tasks.
