Job Summary:

• Component Data Management
• Alternate Suggestion and PCN (Product Change Notice) impact analysis
• Analyze BOMs of tools for RoHS, WEEE Compliance
• Life Cycle Analysis of Electronic, Electrical and Electromechanical components
• Main Functions/Responsibilities
• Component data management in company’s data management system
• Analyze Electrical and Electronics components and sub-assemblies for Obsolescence, RoHS and WEEE status
• Create PCN alerts Analyze impact of PCN changes to FFF (Form Fit Function) of the component
• Prepare WEEE recycling forms for Sustaining and Engineering BoMs
• Suggest RoHS equivalent parts for RoHS Non-Compliant EE parts
• Address engineering change requests for updating data in data management system
• Create and review engineering change orders
• Understand and adhere strictly to company policies, standards and procedures
• Responsible for the accuracy and quality of deliverables

Job Responsibilities:

• Oversee all activities related to electrical and electromechanical component data management in Schlumberger specific PLM system.
• Manage the projects on Electrical Component qualification testing (Evaluation, Characterization, Life test etc.)
• Assist team in defining Component test plans, procedures and creating test setup (Hardware and Software)
• Guide and assist the team in performing PCN (Product Change Notice) impact analysis
• Mentor the team to perform lifecycle and compliance analysis and provide alternate suggestions.
• Collaborate with international stakeholders in implementing technology roadmap of components.
• Author and ensure adherence to standards and procedures.
• Review and approve engineering change orders.
• Delegate tasks and set deadlines.
• Monitor team performance and report on metrics.
• Listen to team members’ feedback and resolve any issues or conflicts.
• Discover training needs and motivate team members.

Academic Qualifications: Diploma in one of the following disciplines

• Electronics Engineering
• Electrical and Electronics Engineering
• Electronics and Communication Engineering
• Electronics and Instrumentation Engineering

Experience: 3-5 years of relevant work experience Skills Required:- Key Skills:-

• Component Data Management
• Good knowledge of interpretation of electrical component datasheets
• Basic knowledge of Environmental Compliance directives RoHS (restriction of Hazardous Substances) and WEEE (Waste of Electronic and Electrical Equipment)
• Basic Knowledge of Life Cycle trends of Electronic Component
• Good knowledge of Electronic and Electrical components and component characteristics
• Knowledge of Microsoft excel, PowerPoint and Microsoft word
• Basic knowledge of EE components manufacturers
