Location: Pune Position Overview: We are looking for a passionate and dynamic  Manager - People & Culture to join our team at Uni Seoul. In this role, you will play a critical part in shaping our people strategy, fostering a positive organizational culture, and driving talent development initiatives. You will act as a strategic partner to the leadership team and a trusted advisor to employees, ensuring alignment with the company’s vision and values. Key Responsibilities: 1. Talent Acquisition & Onboarding

  • Manage end-to-end recruitment for key roles, building a strong talent pipeline aligned with business goals.
  • Develop and implement effective onboarding processes to ensure seamless integration and engagement of new hires.
2. Employee Engagement & Culture Building
  • Foster an inclusive and collaborative workplace culture through engagement initiatives, recognition programs, and employee events.
  • Act as a cultural ambassador, ensuring that the organization’s values are embedded in all people practices.
3. Learning & Development
  • Identify training needs and develop robust skill development programs to support employee growth and career progression.
  • Partner with department heads to implement succession planning and leadership development initiatives.
4. HR Operations, Compliance & Policies
  • Design and implement HR policies, ensuring compliance with local labor laws, statutory requirements, and organizational objectives.
  • Oversee payroll, tax filings, and statutory compliance processes, including EPF, ESI, gratuity, and other regulatory filings.
  • Monitor and adapt to changes in labor law amendments and ensure company policies reflect the latest requirements.
  • Manage legal and compliance audits related to HR, maintaining documentation and error-free processes.
5. Employee Relations & Labor Law Compliance
  • Act as the primary advisor on employee grievances, workplace ethics, and compliance with labor regulations.
  • Manage disciplinary actions, terminations, and dispute resolutions in alignment with labor laws and company policies.
  • Ensure compliance with workplace harassment laws, including POSH (Prevention of Sexual Harassment), and provide training to employees.
  • Collaborate with legal advisors and labor departments as needed to handle disputes and audits effectively.
6. Diversity, Equity, and Inclusion (DEI)
  • Drive DEI initiatives and create awareness programs to promote an equitable and inclusive work environment.
Key Requirements:
  • Educational Background: Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Human Resources, Law, Organizational Psychology, or a related field.
  • Experience:
  • 5+ years in HR with at least 2 years in a managerial capacity.
  • Proven expertise in labor law compliance, statutory regulations, and HR best practices.
  • Strong knowledge of applicable laws such as Shops & Establishment Act, Payment of Wages Act, Factories Act, POSH, and other relevant labor regulations.
  • Skills:
  • Exceptional interpersonal, communication, and leadership skills.
  • Strong analytical abilities to use data for decision-making and process improvement.
  • High emotional intelligence and a proactive problem-solving approach.
