Job Description Position : Head – Structure/Bridge Design Qualification – M. Tech: Structure (B. Tech may be accepted if the relevant experience is extensive) Relevant Experience: Would have worked extensively in detailed design in various Elevated corridor and Bridge projects (Road / rail) with exposure to Cantilever construction, Extra -dose , Cable stayed structure , Steel spans over land and water.
- Must be M. Tech (Structures) from Tier 1 institute
- Around 30 years of experience.
- Experience should be with consulting firm in the design office and not in the project sites.
- Experience of DPR / Design Review / Authority Engineer is not helpful for us. People with these roles would not fit in our requirements.
- Hands on experience of design is must .
- Experience in Cable Stayed / Extradose bridges are added Advantage.
- He / She should be leading a medium to big size of design engineers in an design Office.
- The Head of bridge design would be responsible to lead, develop and manage all aspects of our design related to bridges and elevated corridors.
- The structures could be any structural system like PSC Girders / Steel Girders / Box Segmental / Extra dose / cable stayed / steel spans on Deep or open foundation systems.
- It's a leadership role, with accountability for complete design deliverables meeting the stakeholder’s requirement through the team within the organisation or taking support from the external consultants meeting the timely delivery within the estimated quantity and engineering budget.
- He will ensure the design and creative deliverables are aligned to stakeholder expectations and executed within budget and deadlines. At times, we require him to develop visual designs, and at other times, be responsible for recruiting and managing multi-disciplinary third-party suppliers as well as internal design resources. It will involve you using your best practice toolkit to implement new processes and practices to improve the efficiency of the design and creative department.
