Faculty Member - Core Business Analytics

Position : Faculty Member – Core Business Analytics Department : MBA Program Employment Type : Full-Time / Part-Time Role Overview We seek a highly motivated faculty member to join our Core Business Analytics department. The role requires expertise in key analytics methodologies, tools, and frameworks to help students excel in solving real-world business problems using data-driven strategies. Key Responsibilities Teaching & Curriculum Development :

• Deliver engaging lectures and workshops on core Business Analytics topics, including:

-- Business Problem Formulation and Analytics Strategy -- Descriptive, Diagnostic, Predictive, and Prescriptive Analytics -- Business Intelligence Tools: Power BI, Tableau, and Excel (Advanced) -- Data Visualization and Storytelling -- Statistics and Hypothesis Testing for Decision Making -- Optimization and Simulation Models -- Time Series Analysis and Forecasting -- Marketing Analytics, Financial Analytics, and Supply Chain Analytics -- Requirements Elicitation and Stakeholder Analysis

• Develop industry-relevant course content, case studies, and hands-on exercises to ensure practical application of concepts.

Research & Mentorship :

• Guide students on analytics-driven business case studies and capstone projects.
• Mentor students on the use of analytical tools to address strategic and operational challenges.
• Encourage faculty research and publication in Business Analytics.

Collaboration & Industry Engagement :

• Build partnerships with industry leaders to bring real-world insights and tools into the classroom.
• Facilitate guest lectures and workshops by analytics professionals.
• Collaborate with other departments to integrate cross-disciplinary learning opportunities.

Qualifications Education : Master’s/Ph.D. in Business Analytics, Statistics, Operations Research, or a related field. Experience :

• Proven teaching or industry experience in core Business Analytics and related domains.
• Familiarity with implementing analytics solutions in domains such as finance, marketing, operations, and supply chain.

Skills :

• Proficiency in analytics tools like Python, R, SQL, Power BI, Tableau, and Excel Solver.
• Expertise in statistical modeling, optimization techniques, and visualization frameworks.
• Strong problem-solving, communication, and mentorship abilities.
• Industry knowledge in cloud deployment and enterprise-scale analytics platforms is a plus.
