Job Summary:- The Head of Human Resources will lead the HR function for the organization, focusing on strategic planning, workforce management, and aligning HR initiatives with business objectives. This role involves overseeing HR operations, setting and achieving KPIs, fostering employee engagement, and managing a high-performing HR team to support operations effectively. Roles and Responsibilities:- Strategic Planning and Goal Setting: · Develop and implement HR strategies. · Establish short- and long-term goals for the HR function to support business growth. · Design workforce plans (Outlet staffing matrix )to ensure optimal staffing levels and skillsets across the board. · Being the part of Change management, Career remodelling, Organization development framework, Performance management & enhancement KPI Development and Monitoring: · Define, track, and report HR KPIs, including recruitment metrics, retention rates, employee satisfaction, and training ROI. · Analyse KPI trends to recommend and implement data-driven HR strategies. · Regularly review the performance of salon employees against defined KPIs and recommend improvement plans. Recruitment and Workforce Management: · Oversee talent acquisition for all roles. · Strategies the process in hiring the right talent with the team. · Improvising the efficient hiring, onboarding and orientation processes. · Identifying and collaborating with the new the sources hiring right talent. · Collaborate with Business Heads to forecast and address manpower needs. Team Management and Leadership:
- Lead and mentor the HR team, setting clear objectives and performance expectations.
- Allocate tasks effectively to ensure efficient team operations.
- Conduct regular team meetings, performance reviews, and training to foster professional growth.
- Design and oversee employee training programs, focusing on technical skills, customer service, and leadership development.
- Establish a culture of continuous learning and development across the organization.
- Foster a positive work culture that aligns with organizational values.
- Design and execute employee engagement initiatives to boost morale and productivity.
- Process implementation to address employee grievances and implement retention strategies to reduce turnover.
- Determining Reward & Recognition among the functions through performance and skills evaluations
- Oversee the performance appraisal process, ensuring alignment with business goals.
- Provide guidance to managers on performance improvement plans.
- Recognize and reward high-performing employees through structured recognition programs.
- Ensure compliance with all labour laws and industry regulations.
- Develop, review, and update HR policies to reflect organizational and legal requirements.
- Handle escalations related to HR policies, payroll, or grievances.
- Prepare and manage the departmental budget with regards to staffing, and other benefits.
- Monitor expenses related to recruitment, training, and employee benefits to ensure cost efficiency.
- Prepare comprehensive HR reports for senior leadership, including workforce analytics, KPI performance, and strategic recommendations.
- Provide insights on HR trends and best practices in the salon industry.
- Education: Bachelor’s or master’s degree in human resources, Business Administration, or related field.
- Experience: 13 + years of experience in HR management, preferably in the beauty, wellness, cosmetology or retail industry.
