About the Team Enterprise Strategic Sourcing (ESS) is responsible for managing all Indirect categories within Lowe’s collaborating with all business functions, legal, IT and Finance. The Analytics, Market Intel and Process (AMP) team within ESS is responsible for all indirect spend data (>$10B), all procurement processes, systems, policies as well as external market data and insights. The AMP team forms a core part of category management within ESS/Lowe’s ensuring value is brought in across projects through valuable insights. Job Summary: The primary purpose of this role is to execute and support projects in the data vertical within Enterprise Strategic Sourcing (ESS). The individual is expected to work in conjunction with enterprise strategic sourcing category leaders & teams and with AMP (Analytics, Market Intel and Process) leaders. This position is focused on providing reports/analytics, insights, intel or process changes as required. An incumbent may be asked to perform responsibilities across the data analysis and process and systems functions as needed. Roles & Responsibilities: Core Responsibilities:
- Own specific dashboards – category, supplier, regional, etc. Ensure dashboards are refreshed on time and delivered to respective stakeholders
- Pull and analyze data and rates associated to historical/current spend for baseline development as required
- Own / support creation of new dashboards
- Support editing existing dashboards, metrics
- Support data analysis across all categories – both reactive and proactive
- Support analytics team with any templates needed for RFP analytics
- Consolidate data for key metrics reporting
- Support data modelling and enrichment exercises
- Increase accuracy of data
- Provide inputs on key analytics projects
- Support data cleansing / transformation efforts
- Support with vendor financials, ISG (information security group) analysis and ESG (environmental social and governance) data analysis
- Exposure to Sourcing and Procurement
- Data Analysis, Excel and PPT Knowledge
- Strong data collection, collation, and representation skills
- Collaboration & communication skills
- Experience in analytics UI tools such as PowerBI, SQL etc
- Knowledge of procurement tools
