Role – Assistant Category Manager, Marketplaces Location - Bangalore (Work from Office) About GIVA: Founded in 2019 and headquartered in Bengaluru, GIVA is India’s largest D2C jewelry brand specializing in silver, gold, and lab-grown diamonds. Known for its trust and omnichannel experience, GIVA is a go-to choice for fine jewelry gifting. Role Overview: As a Category Associate – Marketplaces, you will drive key metrics such as GMV, margin, and inventory performance across marketplace platforms. Collaborating with cross-functional teams, you will develop buyable assortments, pricing strategies, and marketing initiatives to align with the brand’s vision and market trends. What You will Own and Deliver -● Operations & Inventory Management: ○ Manage end-to-end marketplace operations, ensuring adherence to SLAs. ○ Develop robust frameworks for inventory planning, order management, and returns optimization. ○ Create seasonal assortment plans and monitor performance using metrics like ROS and sell-through. ● Sales Growth & Analytics: ○ Maximize sales across marketplaces by analyzing stock/sales reports and identifying growth opportunities. ○ Leverage data for decision-making and forecasting, addressing stock imbalances effectively. ● Advertising & Visibility: ○ Optimize ad campaigns to improve ROI while adhering to budget constraints. ○ Plan banners and visibility interventions for enhanced brand representation. ● Stakeholder Management: ○ Build relationships with marketplace contacts to ensure timely resolutions and favorable negotiations. ○ Influence outcomes on visibility, advertising, and rebates. Desired Skills & Qualifications: ● 2–3 years in business development, key account management, or marketplace operations. ● Strong analytical and critical thinking skills. ● Excellent negotiation, communication, and presentation abilities. ● Proficiency in MS Excel/Google Spreadsheet is essential.
