Job description Qualifications: • Education: Degree in Drafting, CAD, Architecture, Engineering, or a related field. • Experience: Minimum 6 to 8 years’ experience in drafting or design work. Previous experience in Residential, Commercial interior architectural is preferred. • Technical Skills : Proficiency in CAD software (e.g., AutoCAD, Revit, SolidWorks) and other drafting tools. • Knowledge: Understanding of drafting standards, building codes, and industry regulations. • Skills: Strong attention to detail, excellent communication, and organizational skills. Ability to work independently and as part of a team. Job Description: • Prepare Technical Drawings and Plans: Use CAD software to create technical drawings, blueprints, and layouts based on verbal or written specifications from engineers or architects. • Collaborate with Project Teams: Work closely with architects, engineers, and other stakeholders to gather information, understand project requirements, and make necessary adjustments to designs. • Review and Revise Designs: Revise drawings based on feedback from engineers, architects, or project managers, ensuring that all changes are accurately reflected in the final drafts. • Ensure Compliance with Standards: Adhere to industry standards, company guidelines, and regulatory requirements in all drawings and plans. • Maintain Project Documentation: Keep accurate records of all drawings, revisions, and changes for future reference and compliance purposes. • Perform Calculations and Measurements: Use measurements, calculations, and technical specifications to ensure accuracy in all drawings. • Assist in Design Development: Contribute to the development of design concepts and provide input on potential improvements or alternatives. • Quality Assurance: Perform quality checks on completed drawings to ensure accuracy, completeness, and adherence to project specifications. • Stay Updated on Industry Trends: Keep up with advancements in CAD software, design technologies, and drafting standards.
