Roles and Responsibilities: The job encompasses but is not limited to the following Roles and Responsibilities:

  • Provide Staubli customers with in-house or on-site repair, troubleshooting, maintenance services for Staubli robots on an emergency or 24/7 basis within the agreed SLA
  • Promote STAUBLI services, continuously improve customer relationship and report leads to service sales.
  • Install, maintain, troubleshoot and repair Staubli robotic systems in house or on customer site.
  • Provide remote technical support through multiple communication mediums with a focus on remediating customer installations, diagnosis, maintenance and repairs.
  • Provide maintenance and other specific trainings to Staubli customers and follow-up for preventive maintenance.
  • Ability to discuss, diagnose & repair of robot operations and identify problems as reported by the customer.
  • Documenting Staubli robot and related equipment performance, failure modes and reporting results for the purpose of troubleshooting, repairing, and restarting the system.
  • Daily reporting to the Local Manager to update status & availability.
  • Completion of a detailed Field Service report for each customer call and documentation of service interventions in CRM.
  • Coordinate responsibilities, activities, and schedule with Local Manager to ensure customer satisfaction, proper billing, and collections.
  • Responsible for achieving assigned Service revenue and also generate revenue through sales of Annual maintenance and Preventive maintenance contracts with customers
  • To work on Service CRM & update the activities/opportunities/Service requests in CRM portal.
YEARS OF EXPERIENCE/AGE 4-5 years of experience in robotics, or industrial automation industry. Previous troubleshooting experience is also a necessity. QUALIFICATION B.E./B. Tech. – Electrical & Electronics, Mechanical, Mechatronics, NTTF. TRAVEL 70-75% Travel across India to diagnose/service customer machines. Technical Basic Mechanics (drafting skills) Automation concepts (PLC, Drives etc.) Industrial Electrical concepts & circuitary Basic electronics (component identification and their functions, circuitary, digital logic circuits, etc) Computer communications (industry oriented), Experience with diagnostics tools, electric circuits & mechanical systems. Proficiency in understanding PLC programming /industrial automation. Sensors and actuators technologies (electric, and pneumatic), Knowledge standard networking protocols (TCP/IP, Ethernet…) and Industrial networking protocols (DeviceNet, Profibus, CANBus…) Behavioural Excellent Communication & interpersonal skills Able to analyze problems in a logical manner Willingness to travel for on-site support multiple times and emergency service calls. Is highly organized with the ability to manage multiple projects. Build Strong relationships with clients to ensure long term satisfaction Manage multiple service requests efficiently under tight deadlines. Prioritize tasks based on urgency and impact on customer operations. A self-starter who is resourceful and initiates work without specific instruction. Agility & ability to Work-life balance and embrace changes with positive attitude Willingness to learn new technologies & adaptable to client environment situations quickly. Work closely with Sales, Application & Admin team for seamless service delivery. Should be proficient in multiple languages –Indian languages. English is must.
