JOB DESCRIPTION: Kena International/Exbo Group is looking for an exceptional individual to join our team to help grow our Tax practice. This individual will provide tax compliance and consultant services to support our clients as we scale. The Tax Analyst will play a crucial role in joining our tax function at Exbo Group. In this role, you will assist with US federal and state income tax compliance for corporate taxpayers (Form 1120) and help implement best practices and support a full-service tax function. This will include analyzing accounting data to create relevant compliance workpapers and preparing the relevant tax forms within tax preparation software. You will also assist with sell-side and deal-side tax due diligence in support of Exbo Group’s Transaction Services Practice. Over time, you will grow your knowledge base to become an expert that can prepare and consult on US tax issues to help our clients scale remain full compliance. We expect this person to be comfortable working with a growing remote team execute tax procedures. WHAT YOU’LL DO: ● US Federal and State Income Tax Compliance for corporate taxpayers, including preparation of the relevant forms in our tax preparation software (Majorly Form 1120 and 1120-S)● Sales and Use Tax Preparation ● Learn and develop Tax technical skillset that will allow to you to eventually own the compliance and consulting role for key clients ● Effectively communicate the status with manager KEY QUALIFICATIONS: ● 1-2 years of relevant US tax experience (Big4 experience is a plus)● Proficiency with MS Office experience with demonstrated knowledge working with Excel spreadsheets ● Prior QuickBooks Desktop or QuickBooks Online experience is a plus ● A year or more experience in GOSYSTEM Tax software is a plus ● High attention to detail with exceptional level of accuracy ● Possess strong critical thinking skills and ability to think outside of a given set of constraints ● Must have written and verbal communication skills; able to communicate clearly and effectively with manager ● Ability to identify and resolve issues and present information in a clear and concise manner ● Excellent time management skills, ability to prioritize and deal with ambiguity ● Enjoy working with and advising a diverse set of growing companies WORK MODEL This is a full-time position that starts immediately. We maintain a hybrid and flexible model that balances remote work with in-person collaboration from our US office.
