Company Website : Job Description : As a Sales Lead, you will be responsible for driving business growth and sales and contributing to sales revenue. Your primary objective will be to generate commercial lighting business opportunities and secure profitable contracts. Responsibilities : Market Research and Strategy: Conduct in-depth market research to identify potential clients, market trends, and competitive landscape in Indian Market. Develop comprehensive business development strategies and action plans to penetrate the commercial lighting market. Analyze customer needs, preferences, and buying behavior to tailor our offerings and value propositions accordingly. Lead Generation and Prospecting: Identify, engage, and build relationships with key decision-makers, influencers, and stakeholders in the target market. Actively pursue new business opportunities through networking, referrals, trade shows, conferences, and other relevant channels. Leverage your industry knowledge and contacts to generate leads and expand our customer base. Relationship Management Build and maintain strong relationships with existing and potential clients, understanding their requirements and offering tailored lighting solutions. Collaborate with internal teams, including sales, product development, and marketing, to align strategies and ensure customer satisfaction. Provide exceptional customer service, addressing inquiries, resolving issues, and managing client expectations throughout the sales process. Proposal Development and Contract Negotiation: Prepare persuasive and compelling proposals, presentations, and sales materials to display our lighting solutions and value proposition. Lead contract negotiations, pricing discussions, and terms and condition agreements with clients, ensuring win-win outcomes. Drive the conversion of leads into successful contracts, achieving revenue and profitability targets. Market Intelligence and Reporting: Monitor industry trends, competitor activities, and market dynamics, providing regular reports and insights to the management team. Track and analyze sales data, pipeline metrics, and key performance indicators (KPIs) to assess progress and identify areas for improvement. Additional Requirements : Possess a high degree of technical competency in electrical engineering, quality evaluation, testing methodology, and lighting standards. Develop hands-on knowledge of all technical aspects of LED lighting and keep up to date with new concepts and trends in the industry. Build and maintain strong relationships with key consultants from all segments and use these relationships to identify new business opportunities. Demonstrate knowledge of new concept sand trends in LED lighting, including POE, IoT (Internet of Things), connected and smart lighting. Strong knowledge of the commercial lighting market and industry trends. Excellent networking, interpersonal, and communication skills to engage with clients, negotiate contracts, and build relationships. Willingness to travel frequently as per business requirements.
