- Identify potential markets in Africa with fewer e-wallet and mobile money players, fewer EMI holders, and a higher unbanked population.
- Conduct in-depth market analysis to assess business opportunities and risks.
- Generate high-quality leads through networking, cold calling, attending fintech events, and online research.
- Develop inbound and outbound lead strategies using digital campaigns and market research.
- Achieve required SQL (Sales Qualified Lead) conversion rates.
- Conduct tele-calls, Skype calls, and product presentations.
- Develop and execute a strategic sales plan to acquire new clients, focusing on fintech startups, financial institutions, and mobile network operators.
- Manage the entire end-to-end sales cycle, from identifying opportunities, requirement gathering, technical alignment (with support from the technical team), to closing the sale.
- Align sales with market trends and develop tailored sales strategies.
- Work closely with product, marketing, pre-sales, and technical teams to refine offerings.
- Define pricing strategies for different product lines and create negotiation frameworks.
- Once sales are completed, oversee the overall project and ensure successful delivery.
- Track and analyze sales performance, using CRM tools for accurate forecasting.
- Serve as the primary point of contact for clients, ensuring a seamless onboarding experience.
- Maintain ongoing relationships with clients to drive repeat business and referrals.
- Address client concerns and provide innovative solutions to enhance satisfaction and retention.
- Conduct quarterly/yearly follow-ups with future prospects.
- Use reference networking for client expansion and engagement.
- Identify and build strong relationships with key industry players, including financial institutions, mobile network operators, and government agencies.
- Establish strategic alliances that enhance DigiPay.Guru’s service offerings and geographical reach.
- Collaborate with banks and FinTech firms to drive software adoption.
- Strengthen business through joint ventures and industry collaborations.
- Identify, tap, and grow business in new regions.
- Expand brand presence through events, online conferences, webinars, and marketing ads.
- Create channel partners in new regions to facilitate market penetration.
- Plan and execute awareness campaigns and digital marketing initiatives.
- Prepare compelling business proposals, RFPs, and pitch presentations tailored to client needs.
- Collaborate with the marketing team to align sales strategies with promotional campaigns.
- Develop company PPTs, product presentations, and customized proposals based on client requirements.
- Meet and exceed monthly, quarterly, and annual sales targets.
- Track and analyze sales data to refine strategies and improve performance.
- Provide regular reports to senior management on sales progress and business expansion efforts.
- Ensure data accuracy in CRM tools for sales forecasting, performance evaluation, and strategic planning.
- Represent DigiPay.Guru at fintech events, industry forums, and networking conferences.
- Actively engage in discussions on fintech trends and regulatory developments in Africa.
- Leverage LinkedIn and region-specific platforms for lead generation and brand visibility.
- Execute email campaigns, personalized outreach, and targeted engagement strategies.
- Manage and maintain CRM systems to track leads, sales activities, and customer interactions.
- Generate reports to measure campaign success, pipeline tracking, and deal progression.
- Use workflow automation for lead nurturing, follow-ups, and sales optimization.
- Work with marketing, technology, design, development, and product teams to ensure seamless operations.
- Mentor junior sales executives and manage their activities.
- Monitor monthly data, validate performance metrics, and optimize sales approaches.
- Stay updated on new product features/modules and industry trends.
- Showcase how product modules effectively address client requirements.
- Conduct competitive analysis, identify market gaps, and refine sales strategies.
- Undergo regular training sessions to stay updated on sales techniques and industry innovations.
- Contribute to company blogs and thought leadership content.
- Complete relevant certifications to enhance expertise in fintech and business development.
- Create yearly event participation plans and identify key fintech conferences.
- Schedule face-to-face meetings with region-specific ICPs (Ideal Customer Profiles).
- Track event leads, ensure timely follow-ups, and assess event impact.
