US Tax Supervisor - 1040

The ideal candidate should have a strong background in reviewing and preparing 1040 tax returns, along with expertise in client onboarding, handling raw data, and managing initial-year setup. Proficiency in UltraTax and CCH Axcess is required. Experience in preparing simple business returns and basic QuickBooks/bookkeeping is a plus. Key Responsibilities:

• Review and prepare individual tax returns (1040) with accuracy and efficiency.
• Assist in client onboarding, ensuring smooth data transition and initial-year setup.
• Analyze and handle raw financial data to ensure compliance and accuracy in tax reporting.
• Utilize UltraTax and CCH Axcess for tax preparation and review processes.
• Provide guidance and support to tax associates and junior staff.
• Communicate effectively with clients to resolve tax-related queries and concerns.
• Assist with simple business return preparation as needed.
• Perform basic QuickBooks bookkeeping tasks, including financial reconciliations and reports.
• Stay updated with current tax laws and regulations to ensure compliance.

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
• CPA or EA certification preferred but not required.
• Minimum 7+ years of experience in tax preparation and review.
• Experience with simple business returns and QuickBooks is an advantage.
• Strong knowledge of UltraTax and CCH Axcess.
• Experience in handling raw financial data and client onboarding.
• Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and organizational skills.
• Strong attention to detail and ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
• Effective communication and leadership skills.
