ROLES AND RESPONSIBILITIES As part of the Medical Product testing team, should be able to plan, identify and execute testing activities in a product development to meet the quality and project goals but not limited to the following:
- Plan and execute testing activities in a Product development project.
- Collaborate with design and development teams to troubleshoot and resolve issues.
- Understand product features in detail, develop test cases and perform test execution to challenge the design
- Perform traceability of test cases to requirements and ensure test coverage.
- Perform functional, regression, integration, and system-level testing.
- Perform electrical testing of electrical circuits, signal processing units, and interfaces.
- Ensure the safety and quality of the product by adhering to established standards, protocols, and requirements.
- Able to interpret design and identify test scenarios.
- Work closely with the development team and Project team to meet the project timelines.
- Identifies opportunities for improvements, offer new ideas and take initiative to improve the testing process.
- Perform test optimization and early identification of defects.
- Engineering degree or above in Electrical/Electronics/ or equivalent
- Familiarity with electrical test equipment such as oscilloscopes, function generators, multi meters, and signal analyzers.
- Basic knowledge of Hardware and analog/digital electronics.
- Familiarity with manual testing processes.
- Fire in the Belly - Passion for success and being proactive

- Completes assigned tasks on time and with high quality. Takes independent responsibility for assigned deliverables.
- Willingness to learn new areas and contribute to the project with own ideas
- Good knowledge in various testing methodologies and tools.
- Experience with Agile development methodology.
- Background in the medical industry with working knowledge on IEC standards, and knowledge in testing medical devices.
- Experience using a Test Management tool, such as Code Beamer or DOORs, Jira for requirements and test cases management.
- Good analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills.
- Knowledge/Experience in Product Development Testing.
