Responsibilities: 1. Finding and allotting 20-25 well researched topics everyday on daily happenings of the sport and its biggest athletes using sources such as social media (twitter, Instagram, YouTube, TikTok, Snapchat), podcasts, and others as may be decided by the team. 2. Acting as the liaison between your department and support teams such as social media, SEO, editorial and operations, to name a few. This particularly includes duties such as strategizing and management of ES-owned social media pages, and overseeing research efforts by the SEO researcher. 3. Fulfilling any data/documentation requirements as instructed by the Content Strategy team. 4. Undertaking daily writer operations management in association / as instructed by the Division Lead. Requirements:
- Good knowledge and understanding of the world of MLB and baseball in general.
- You have a good grasp of the fundamentals of the English language and are well-versed with American culture.
- Prior experience (6-12 months minimum) of content ideation and management would be a plus.
- Prior understanding of tools such as Google Analytics and CrowdTangle would be a plus.
- To work in harmony with the Content Team, Managerial Team and Editorial Team to uphold the efficiency, quality and standards of EssentiallySports.
