Fire and Security Engineer

Germar Electrical and Security are hiring a skilled, experienced, and reliable person to join our growing team. As a Germar Fire & Security Systems Engineer, you will play a pivotal role in safeguarding our customers by offering your technical expertise in the installation, inspection, repair, and maintenance of electronic security and life safety systems. Your efforts will be instrumental in driving the continued growth of our business. We are looking for a positive, committed, and organized engineer to add to our team with an interest in progressive technology. Responsibilities:

1. Effectively plan and organize work, including understanding project requirements.
2. Fault-find, investigate, maintain, repair, and upgrade security and life safety systems.
3. Ensure compliance with safety regulations and industry best practices.
4. Demonstrate system operations to clients and system operators.

Qualifications:

1. Electronic Security Systems or Electrical Craft Certificate (QQI Level 6 or equivalent preferred).
2. Minimum of 3 years experience.

Additional Information: A company vehicle will be provided for travel to customer sites, so a valid full clean driver’s license is essential. Location: Primarily South-East with some nationwide travel required. Job Type: Full-time with benefits including company car and pension. Schedule:
