Project Developer

Mission As part of the development of its activities, Amarenco is seeking a Project Developer for its office in Cork, Ireland. As a Project Developer, you will be responsible for driving the development of ground-mounted photovoltaic power plants and storage projects to their "Ready-to-Build" (RTB) status. This involves achieving key milestones such as permitting, grid connection, land management, and energy sales. The role requires strong analytical, organisational, and interpersonal skills, along with expertise in renewable energy. Key Responsibilities

1. Progress the Portfolio of Project Ireland through all Development stages as per schedule, within budget and according to specified quality, safety & environmental standards
2. Coordinate the work of a multi-disciplinary project team
3. Ensure compliance with internal processes, standards and reporting requirements
4. Monitor and analyse the project's economic indicators throughout its development
5. Participate in the signing of the project lease with the owners
6. Apply Project Management techniques including Risk & Opportunity Management
7. Manage relationships with third-party advisors, service providers and contractors
8. Engage with external stakeholders including landowners, local authorities, system operators & regulators in order to de-risk project delivery
9. Support colleagues in the delivery of EPC contractor procurement, project financing and contract negotiation
10. Participate in the evaluation of projects/portfolios during external acquisition phases (M&A)
11. Participate in various associations and professional working groups in the sector
12. Participate in various project reviews and steering committees

Profile You are an organised individual with excellent communication and negotiation skills, capable of managing multiple projects at various stages of development. You have the energy to advocate for your projects and the ability to collaborate with diverse stakeholders, including internal teams, landowners, and public institutions. You bring advanced project management skills, a strong knowledge of renewable energy technologies such as solar PV and energy storage, and a good understanding of sustainability principles, environmental impacts, and energy regulations. Familiarity with the agricultural sector is a plus. Additionally, you have at least 5 years of proven experience in renewable energy project development. #J-18808-Ljbffr
