Application Engineer

• Provides technical expertise/consultancy within the sales process and guides to a system concept solution for Electric Automation and other technologies/product lines, according to the local market needs.
• Defines the electrical and mechanical design of a solution, derived from the requirement specification defined together with the customer, with focus on standard products.
• Provides feasible application solution proposals, based on deep technical product knowledge.
• Performs feasibility studies by means of sample setups, simulations or calculations.
• Provides remote and onsite advisory during after-sales commissioning activities.
• Supports Sales Engineer in defining the right price and conditions for a solution based on the value add.
• Performs any ad hoc tasks assigned by Line Manager from time to time.

• Bachelor Degree in Mechatronic, Electrical, or Mechanical Engineering.
• Diploma can be considered based on work experience.
• 3 years of relevant business experience necessary.
• Internal candidates without Application Engineering experience can be considered.
