The role and responsibilities Working as part of the newly formed Bids Team, the successful candidate will be responsible for a number of critical activities to support the delivery of bid submissions to potential clients. This is an excellent opportunity to join a busy, professional and highly regarded team in a role that offers exposure to a wide range of clients spanning nine sectors. Key responsibilities Draft customised bid documents to answer Invitations to Tender (ITTs) and Requests for Proposals (RFPs) in a dynamic and responsive manner, making sure all key client requirements have been covered. Create final bid submissions using InDesign and Microsoft templates. Proof read bid submissions owned by other members of the team to ensure content is relevant, tailored and free of spelling and grammatical errors. Take ownership of the bid related administrative requirements (e.g. logging bids received, sending bids received to stakeholders, recording outcomes, analysing win/loss data) Assist with the creation of template documents and self -serve material for the wider business where required. Contribute to the development of the proposal team capability. The Candidate Work-Based Competencies Essential

  • 1-2 years of previous bid experience
  • Experienced in delivering to tight deadlines with prioritisation and time management skills.
  • Strong proofreading/editing skills with excellent attention to detail.
  • Proven writing skills in tenders.
  • Strong verbal communication skills.
  • Microsoft Office suite – particularly Outlook, Teams, Word, Excel and PowerPoint
Desirable
  • Experience in professional services or partnership environment.
  • Adobe Creative Cloud, particularly InDesign would be an advantage as critical to the role. Training will be provided for the right candidate.
