The Country Manager will be responsible for overseeing the daily operations and implementing the company's strategy in Bahrain. Duties and Responsibilities:- Establishing and expanding the company's presence in Bahrain in line with the company's objectives, standards, and guidelines.
- Building, enabling, and retaining a high-performing team by hiring skilled and competent resources.
- Overseeing the implementation and achievement of corporate business objectives and strategies.
- Assuming ownership and delivery of the company's profit and loss budget.
- Maintaining sound financial performance.
- Developing and maintaining strong relationships with key stakeholders, including customers, channel partners, and vendors.
- Representing the company as its main ambassador in the country, safeguarding and promoting its reputation.
- Ensuring the operational functioning of the company.
- Adhering to compliance and governance policies.
- Implementing measures to maintain a leading market share position.
- Driving high performance through leadership and team inspiration and motivation.
- Deploying and executing local policies through coordination with internal divisions and HQ teams.
- Designing and implementing effective marketing and sales strategies to maximize revenue and profitability.
- Managing account receivables, maintaining healthy days sales outstanding (DSO) and work in progress (WIP).
- Over 10 years' experience in the ICT industry, with at least 5 years covering the Bahrain market.
- At least 5 years' experience in managerial and leadership positions.
- A degree in Business, Management, Finance, Technology, or a related field.
- A Master's degree or other post-secondary degrees are highly desirable.
- Ability to manage complete profit and loss statements.
- In-depth understanding of accounting, finance, sales, marketing, operations, and human resources.
- Broad knowledge of technology products and solutions.
- Experience managing large-scale channel ecosystems.
- Capacity to operate in fast-paced environments.
- Experience managing multi-cultural teams.
- Strong knowledge of compliance and corporate governance.
- Ability to build, present, and execute strategic business plans.
- Excellent organizational, interpersonal, and people management skills.
- Arabic as a native language and fluency in English is required.
