Title: Process Engineering Specialist (LNG, SRU, IR, UTL & Helium 4) Start Date: ASAP - Negotiable within 30 days notice Duration: Three Years Initial contract with a possibility of extension. Working Schedule

  • Work hours per day: 8 - 10 hrs/day
  • Normal working days: Sunday to Thursday.
Work Location/Assignment Type: (Onshore/Ras Laffan/Doha) Job Purpose Advise and support Process Engineering related activities during EPC and Startup phase until handover to permanent Asset whilst ensuring project deliverables meet Operations expectations in terms of Safety, Operability, Reliability and Maintainability over the facility design life cycle. Key Responsibilities
  • Provide expert process engineering support during HAZOP, HAZID, SIL verification, and process safety reviews.
  • Develop and implement process surveillance tools to optimize production and enhance operational efficiency.
  • Support the development of Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) for new projects.
  • Conduct system walk-downs and pre-commissioning activities, ensuring seamless project tie-ins and system completions.
  • Identify and resolve critical issues that could impact reliability, availability, and cyber security.
  • Provide technical expertise and advisory support to various disciplines across the organization.
Qualifications
  • Bachelor's degree in chemical engineering.
Experience
  • Minimum 8 years in oil & gas operations, with a strong focus on process engineering.
Technical Skills
  • Strong knowledge of LNG, SRU, IR, UTL, and Helium 4 processes.
  • Ability to work under high-pressure conditions and make critical decisions.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office & SAP.
  • Strong leadership, teamwork, and communication skills.
  • Fluent in English (written & spoken).
