WSP is looking for an MEP Engineer - Electrical Engineer for a project in Riyadh.

Your new role, what's involved?

Verify the contractor's shop drawings, method statements, and material submittals related to Electrical works
Collaborate with the Design Manager to ensure that the contractor's submittals are compliant with the design intent
Monitor the MEP works carried out by the contractor on-site to ensure that they comply with the project specifications, drawings, and codes
Coordinate with the contractor and other project stakeholders to ensure that electrical works are integrated seamlessly into the overall project plan
Participate in site meetings and provide updates on the progress of MEP works
Resolve any MEP-related issues or conflicts that arise during construction, in consultation with the Design Manager
Ensure that MEP works are completed on time and within budget
Perform periodic quality control checks and inspections to ensure that electrical works are of high quality
Review and approve the contractor's invoices related to electrical works
Provide technical support to the project team during the construction phase

We'd love to hear from you if you have:

Minimum of 10 years of experience in electrical engineering, preferably in a project management consultancy firm
Familiarity with electrical design, construction, and installation methods and codes
Strong communication, coordination, and interpersonal skills
Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced environment
Proven ability to manage multiple tasks simultaneously and meet project deadlines
Proficient in MEP software and Microsoft Office & AutoCAD
Willingness to work on-site and travel as required
