Job details

You as a Production Engineer will be part of Hitachi Energy business based in Dammam, Saudi Arabia. Your responsibilities

  1. Leading the 5S and Kaizen approach and make sure to be implemented in DMM Factory.
  2. Responsible to conduct time and motion study for Assembly and Testing activities.
  3. Leading to ramp up the factory readiness (Floor marking, buffers, Racks, Bins) and visualization.
  4. Responsible to create the PPS and lead the implementation of it through VDB to improve the FPY for all products.
  5. Responsible to create and maintain cleaning process and instructions for factory and critical components to improve the FPY.
  6. MES Know how and implementation.
  7. Applying Lean Six Sigma Tools (DMAIC) at least 2 projects in a year.
  8. Responsible to create manual POR / IP for new tools, Jigs, Fixtures and parts that are related to improvement.
  9. Responsible to lead the flexible racking system (PPDC area) and able to improve the process and eliminate waste.
  10. Employee shall also carry out any tasks that are assigned by direct manager to fulfill the job requirements.

Your background
  1. A bachelor’s degree in relevant field is required.
  2. Minimum 2 years of experience as production engineer in relevant industry is required.
  3. Proficiency in both spoken & written English language is required.
