The ideal candidate will be the first point of contact for guests, ensuring a warm welcome, efficient check-in and check-out processes, and providing exceptional customer service to enhance the guest experience.
Key Responsibilities:
- Greet guests upon arrival and ensure a smooth check-in and check-out process.
- Provide excellent customer service, addressing guest inquiries and requests promptly and professionally.
- Manage reservations, room assignments, and billing using hotel management software.
- Handle phone calls, emails, and other guest communications efficiently.
- Maintain a clean and organized front desk area.
- Assist guests with information about hotel services, local attractions, and transportation options.
- Resolve guest complaints or escalate issues to the appropriate department.
- Coordinate with housekeeping and other departments to ensure guest needs are met.
- Process payments and manage cash or card transactions securely.
- Maintain accurate guest records and ensure compliance with hotel policies.
Requirements
Qualifications and Skills:
- High school diploma or equivalent; a degree in hospitality management is a plus.
- Previous experience as a Front Desk Agent, Receptionist, or in a customer service role is preferred.
- Proficiency in hotel management software (e.g., Opera, PMS, or similar).
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Strong problem-solving abilities and a proactive attitude.
- Fluency in English; knowledge of Arabic or additional languages is an advantage.
- Ability to work flexible shifts, including nights, weekends, and holidays.
