Akkodis is part of the Adecco Group. We are seeking an experienced Freelance Oracle Expert to join our team. Responsibilities: Audit & Assessment
  • Conduct a detailed health check of the Oracle Database 19c (19.12).
  • Analyze the Oracle E-Business Suite (EBS R12.2.10) for performance, stability, and security.
  • Review database configurations, indexing, partitions, and tuning settings.
  • Evaluate ERP customizations, integrations, concurrent processing, and patching strategies.
  • Assess backup and recovery (RMAN), disaster recovery (DR), and high availability (HA) setups.
  • Identify potential bottlenecks, vulnerabilities, and areas for improvement.
Security and Compliance Review
  • Check for security vulnerabilities and compliance with best practices.
  • Audit user access control, roles, privileges, and data encryption.
  • Review patching history, security updates, and adherence to Oracle’s best practices.
Performance Optimization
  • Identify slow queries, inefficient PL/SQL code, and unoptimized indexes.
  • Recommend performance tuning strategies for improved response times.
Recommendations and Reporting
  • Provide a detailed audit report summarizing findings, risks, and improvement areas.
  • Offer actionable recommendations for performance enhancement, security, and scalability.
  • Guide on best practices for future upgrades, migrations, and ERP optimizations.
Required Skills & Experience
  • 10+ years of experience in Oracle Database Administration & ERP Systems.
  • Expertise in Oracle Database 19c (or similar versions), including performance tuning and security best practices.
  • Strong experience with Oracle E-Business Suite (EBS R12.2.x), including patching, customization, and concurrent processing.
  • In-depth knowledge of RMAN, Data Guard, RAC, ASM, and HA/DR solutions.
  • Familiarity with ADOP (Online Patching) and EBS upgrade strategies.
  • Experience in database security auditing, access control, and compliance.
  • Ability to analyze AWR/ASH reports, trace files, and SQL tuning.
  • Strong knowledge of ERP functional modules and their database impact.
  • Excellent report writing and documentation skills.
Preferred Qualifications
  • Oracle Certified Professional (OCP 19c or higher).
  • Experience with cloud environments (OCI, AWS, Azure) for Oracle workloads.
  • Technical Audit Report detailing findings and risks.
  • Performance Optimization Plan with recommendations.
  • Security & Compliance Review highlighting vulnerabilities.
  • Strategic Roadmap for potential upgrades, migrations, or enhancements.
