Duties

Aircraft Mechanic is responsible to perform aircraft maintenance as directed by a Licensed Aircraft Engineer, Aircraft Technician or Aircraft Lead Mechanic. Main duties include:
  1. Performing aircraft routine and non-routine maintenance tasks.
  2. Liaising solutions for defect rectification.
  3. Informing and advising Licensed Aircraft Engineer (LAE) and Supervisor Maintenance (SVM).
  4. Ensuring quality and company procedures are fulfilled.
  5. Ensuring safety precautions are fulfilled.
  6. Maintaining documentation standards.
  7. Maintaining good housekeeping.
  8. Carrying out aircraft handling.
  9. Effecting special projects.
  10. Supporting Lead Mechanic, Aircraft Technician and Licensed Aircraft Engineers in regards to their duties.

The successful candidate will have the following Qualification, Experience and Skills:

Qualification

  1. Diploma or Associate Degree or equivalent.
  2. Apprenticeship in Technical Profession.

Experience

  1. Five (5) years as a mechanic in airline industry (Part 145 in Line/Base maintenance).
  2. Knowledge and skills of aircraft technical documentation and procedures.
  3. Technical Aviation Training.

Skills

  1. Team orientation

  3. Communication skills
  4. Negotiation skills
