Currently, we are hiring for Assistant Manager - Human Resources to business partner for the Clinics vertical of Aster DM Healthcare, Bahrain. This role requires handling the business partnering activities for Aster clinics across Bahrain and supporting the function in manpower planning, HR operations, talent and reward programs, and driving the strategic programs for the business unit. To ensure success, you should exhibit strong decision-making skills with a deep understanding of employee relationships, staffing management, and training. Key Responsibilities Talent Acquisition & Manpower Planning- Builds plan for workforce supply and demand.
- Supervises and participates in the selection process.
- Ensures that policies, procedures, and techniques are adhered to and recommends improvements.
- Ensures that the organization’s policies and procedures cover all areas of employee relations, compensation and payroll, benefits administration, talent development, talent management, etc.
- Support new digitization projects across the vertical and cascade them to the business.
- Ensure the Talent Acquisition, Performance, Learning, Payroll, and Rewards are designed and operated through the ERP systems.
- Assists management in the development and execution of recognition and engagement programs.
- Assists the HR team with the day-to-day operations for the employee programs and engagement activities that support the business objectives.
- Responsible for supporting, communicating, and promoting various programs and campaigns.
- Provides generalist support to the teams, as it relates to coordination and execution of the HR initiatives and programs.
- Manages employee relations investigations resulting from complaints, preparing responses to employee concerns, and recommending resolutions and measures intended to mitigate risk.
- Provides HR-related support and advice to management and employees on a range of HR functions including talent acquisition and retention, employee relations, performance and compensation planning, learning and development, and effective leadership practices.
- Create a culture of setting goals, timely review, and feedback among the employees and heads of different verticals and functions.
- Ensure objective administration of the performance appraisal process and accuracy in feedback collation.
- Define and structure the probationary and renewal appraisal for the employees.
- Develop rewards & retention strategies to increase employee engagement.
- Ensure tracking of performance management and present reports on a regular basis to management.
- Design a fair promotion policy/guideline for managing the career progress of an employee in the organization.
- Recommend the respective HRs the employees for promotion in a particular year by identifying high performers and high potential employees based on the performance management system outcomes.
- Master’s degree in Human Resources or related (essential).
- 4 - 5 years of experience in HR Operations.
- Good understanding of Labor Law and employment equity regulations.
- Efficient HR administration and people management skills.
- Great knowledge of HR functions and best practices.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
