The position takes responsibility for the coordination and completion of maintenance activities in a timely manner on the site within budget, operating strictly to internal and external H&S regulations and guidelines, including control of contractors. The position involves the processing of material through the SRF in an efficient, cost-effective, and safe manner as planned and instructed by the Technical Manager and/or SRF Analytical Technician. Role & Responsibilities

  • Troubleshooting of technical breakdowns, work preparation, material reservation, and execution of repair activities. These activities can be in the field or in the workshop.
  • Planning and scheduling the maintenance of the facility to comply with both internal standards and external regulations/guidelines and manufacturers' recommendations.
  • The preparation, update, and execution of preventative and periodic maintenance programs.
  • The use of the SAP PM system as support and follow-up tool for the maintenance activities.
  • The preparation and execution of small-sized improvement and project activities.
  • Performing functions as laid out in the planning and processing of both bulk and non-bulk material through the SRF to ensure consistent blends to the final waste treatment centre.
Experience Required
  • Degree in an engineering discipline or trade equivalent.
  • Minimum 2 years experience operating processing plant and equipment.
  • MS Office proficient.
  • Leadership ability with a hands-on approach.
  • Experience in planning and scheduling.
  • General electrical & instrumentation or mechanical experience.
  • Knowledge and experience in the use of a planning tool/application.
  • Knowledge and experience of MS applications & PC-based applications.
