We are currently seeking a highly-motivated Lifeguard to join our Sandymount Swimming/Hydrotherapy Pool team. Contract Type: This is a relief contract. Salary Scale: €31,329 - €34,832 pro rata per annum. Overview of the Post: To carry out to a high standard lifeguarding and associated swimming pool duties. Overview of Duties & Responsibilities: Please download the job description for this post to view a full list of duties. The successful candidate will have: Essential Criteria:

1. Qualified Lifeguard with qualification obtained with Water Safety Ireland.
2. OR
3. Qualified Lifeguard with international qualification recognised by Water Safety Ireland.
4. Minimum of 1 years' experience working as a qualified Lifeguard.
5. Qualified first aider.
6. Knowledge of resuscitation including Cardio Pulmonary Resuscitation.
7. Experience of CPR and emergency medical procedures.
8. Eligible to work in the State.

Desirable Criteria:

1. Experience of teaching people with a disability to swim.
2. Experience working with children.
3. Level 1 Swim Teacher qualification.
