Highly skilled in automation engineering. Extensive experience and skill in manual software engineering. An automation engineer must be able to code. Must haves :
- Ability to pass 5-part in-person coding test during first interview.
- Highly intelligent
- Ability and willingness to learn quickly
- Willingness to work hard.
- Excellent written and spoken English are mandatory.
- Exceptional focus on detail and precise work.
- Highly skilled with POSTMAN API testing.
- Must be able to pass a hands-on coding test.
- Able to write precise steps for reproducing defects.
- Able to spot and report inconsistencies in logic or UI.
- Able to hold developers accountable to deliver exact work.
- Able to test both web sites and mobile applications.
- Recent hands-on experience with performance automation framework such as jMeter
- Recent hands-on experience with an API automation framework such as Cypress
- Recent hands-on experience with UI automation framework such as Selenium
- Recent hands-on experience with mobile automation framework such as Appium.
- Recent hands-on experience with BDD test framework such as Cucumber and Specflow.
- Recent hands-on experience with Swagger.
- Highly skilled with POSTMAN API testing.
- Familiar with Swagger.
- Able to code in C#
- Hands on knowledge of Playwright
- Automated performance testing.
- Automated API automation testing.
- Automated UI automation testing
- Automated mobile automation testing such as Appium.
- Writing code-based tests in C#, JavaScript or any other language as needed
- Manual testing
- This position is for a small company using Agile in 2 week sprints.
- There are 3 or 4 small teams and only one QA per scrum team.
- Each team has 7 or fewer people.
- Position requires somebody who is deeply passionate about quality and automation.
