- Oversee deployments on AWS (EKS, EC2, S3) with a focus on high availability, cost optimization, and robust security practices.
- Drive architecture for telematics and ELD data ingestion using message brokers (Kafka, RabbitMQ, or SQS), ensuring low latency and fault tolerance.
- Promote best practices for CI/CD pipelines, containerization (Docker), and monitoring/alerting (Prometheus, Grafana).
- Provide technical leadership and mentorship to architects, senior developers, and cross-functional teams on emerging technologies and design patterns.
- Maintain architectural diagrams, design documents, and coding standards to ensure consistency and clarity across the organization.
- 8+ years of experience in software engineering or architecture, with significant leadership exposure.
- Proven track record of designing and scaling complex, high-traffic systems in production environments.
- Strong knowledge of AWS (EKS, EC2, S3, IAM, VPC) and Kubernetes for container orchestration.
- Hands-on experience with NodeJS/Go (Lang) or a similar high-performance language for microservices.
- Familiarity with GraphQL or REST architectures for API design.
- Proficiency in message brokers (Kafka, RabbitMQ, or SQS) for event-driven architectures.
- Understanding of NoSQL (MongoDB) or relational databases (PostgreSQL), and data modeling for large-scale applications.
- Excellent communication skills to interact with stakeholders, executives, and development teams.
- Ability to balance strategic thinking with hands-on execution.
- Experience mentoring engineers and advocating for best practices in clean code, testing, and security.
- Exposure to ELD or FMCSA compliance, or experience in transportation/logistics.
- Worked with IOT devices or designed and structured IOT architecture.
- Real-time analytics and streaming (Spark, Flink, Kinesis).
- Infrastructure-as-Code (Terraform, AWS CDK, or CloudFormation).
