About the Role: As an Automation Engineer, you will work under the Automation Manager to design, develop, and release deliverables for biopharmaceutical manufacturing equipment. Key responsibilities include generating design plans using Autodesk Inventor and AutoCAD, ensuring compliance with ASME BPE standards, and managing project requirements and customer satisfaction. Key Responsibilities:
- Lead projects and interface with customers.
- Define automation scope and specifications.
- Estimate hardware, software, and manpower needs.
- Coordinate design and manufacturing efforts.
- Program PLC, OIT, HMI, DCS controllers, and smart instruments.
- Manage automation employees or contractors.
- Assist with Factory and Site Acceptance Tests.
- Support field services and maintain project records.
- Control project costs and schedules.
- Provide training and technical support.
- Honours Degree in Electrical Engineering or related field.
- 5 years of experience with automation systems.
- Proficiency in RSLogix, FTView Studio, and MS Office.
- Experience in the Bio-Pharm or Pharmaceutical industry.
- Strong understanding of programming standards and design fundamentals.
- Excellent communication and organizational skills.
- Ability to work independently and in a team.
- Limited travel required (up to 20%).
