Job Title: Compliance Officer Job Location: Corporate Office, Chennai Reporting to: The CEO Job Summary: As a Compliance Officer, you will serve as a primary resource in measuring and enhancing compliance and anti-fraud programs across the assigned region. You will work closely with EVERRENEW stakeholders to ensure the alignment of business operations with regulatory requirements and company policies. Your role will focus on driving compliance training initiatives, providing guidance, and improving the compliance framework to support business objectives. Responsibilities: Compliance Program Management:
- Implement and manage an effective regional compliance program that aligns with global standards and local regulations.
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date records of all compliance activities.
- Monitor changes in relevant laws and regulations.
- Advise management on legal and regulatory compliance matters, ensuring that all business practices conform to legal standards.
- Create and manage action plans in response to audit findings and compliance violations.
- Assess operations and procedures to identify compliance risks and process vulnerabilities, proposing modifications as needed.
- Monitor the effectiveness of risk mitigation controls and make necessary adjustments.
- Develop and maintain a risk register to track and monitor identified risks.
- Lead local compliance investigations and assist with central investigations, resolving compliance issues efficiently.
- Address and resolve employee concerns regarding compliance matters.
- Educational Background: Master’s or Bachelor’s degree in Law
- Experience: At least 20 years of proven experience in a compliance officer role, with significant exposure to regional regulatory compliance.
