EY’s market leading Reshaping Results team within Strategy and Transaction (SaT) service line provides advice to corporate and private equity firms who intend to improve performance or restructure businesses. Your key responsibilities

1. Advise senior clients across all sectors, supporting key decision makers in developing and executing strategies for value creation.
2. Provide dedicated support to different types of engagements, including value creation diagnostic, validation, planning and tracking delivery.
3. Conduct quantitative analysis on financial and operational data of clients to identify value creation opportunities supported by qualitative analysis.
4. Develop and execute a comprehensive value creation strategy that aligns with the client’s financial goals and operational needs focusing on P&L cost savings and balance sheet savings.
5. Stay abreast of industry trends and best practices in cost management and operational efficiency.
6. Lead blended project teams comprising colleagues from our strategy and transactions practice as well as leading meetings with client stakeholders to advise, shape and drive the planning for value creation and operational restructuring.
7. Contribute to the management of complex engagements, including commercials, resourcing and risk.
8. Support the development and growth of our business, and actively engage with delivery of pitches and presentations to senior clients.
9. Act as a role model and support development of team members, coupled with the recruitment and training responsibilities.

9. Familiarity with working in a large-scale consulting environment or industry role where you can demonstrate the ability to perform and summarise analysis into management insights and recommended actions at pace.
10. Flexibility to support on broader Reshaping Results work.

To qualify for the role, you will require:

1. A minimum of 5+ years relevant experience.
2. Experience of driving multiple complex cost saving projects across functional areas and/or across industries is an added advantage.

As a member of the Reshaping Results team you will require knowledge and experience of one or more of the following:

1. Relevant degrees and certifications (ACA, ACCA, MBA, CIMA, CFA) are an added advantage.
2. Professional services / consulting experience from a management consultancy, corporate finance firm or as an 'internal consultant' in a corporate environment.
3. Transactions lifecycle knowledge and experience is not required but an added advantage including synergy assessment and delivery, stand-alone costing, pre-deal cost due diligence etc.
4. Programme management experience such as of large-scale transformation programmes.
5. Experience of one or more core operational functions (e.g., procurement, finance, HR, supply chain).
